That’s impossible! How many times have you heard that? Probably several. So…Where do we come up with these limits in our mind that we call impossible? It all revolves around what we believe. What we believe is shaped through our thoughts. Proverbs 23:7 says it clearly: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.
This verse basically explains the fact that your real intention or Direction in your life no matter what you try to hide will be revealed by the thoughts that are going through your mind. So when God presents us with the challenge that seems impossible to us. And our thoughts are not in line with Him, how do we expect real change to occur? We must start changing the way we think. Lucky for us God gave us the Bible.
Romans 12:2 New International Version (NIV)
2 Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
The more we set our mind on his will by reading the scriptures the more we start to change our thinking and adopting the mind of God through his word. This in return will give us (through the power of His Holy Spirit) new confidence to walk in what God has called us to.
Luke 1:37 New King James Version (NKJV)
37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
